Interpret, review and structure evidence
GeoSmar works with monitoring records, survey observations, project information and satellite-derived ground-motion data. The review may include QA/QC, baseline checks, rate-of-change assessment, trigger review, anomaly investigation, cross-comparison between datasets and engineering interpretation.
More sensors do not automatically mean better decisions
A larger monitoring network can still produce weak conclusions if baselines are poor, datasets are inconsistent, alarm logic is unclear or engineering context is missing. GeoSmar therefore starts with the monitoring question and the quality of the available evidence.

Ground conditions and contract requirements must be project-specific.

Existing instrumentation

Trigger framework
Alert levels should be tied to the design basis, asset tolerance, observed behaviour and contractual responsibilities. A universal trigger value is not appropriate.
Contract interface
Data ownership, access, reporting frequency, review responsibility, escalation routes, local statutory duties and the authority to issue instructions should be clear before monitoring intelligence is treated as a formal project control.
