Engineering & Technical Content
Public technical information is not a substitute for project-specific engineering review.
GeoSmar publishes material about monitoring, instrumentation, data interpretation, InSAR, trends, thresholds, engineering risk, research and related methods. Such material may help frame a technical discussion, but its relevance depends on the actual project.
No automatic engineering opinion
Reading an article, viewing a chart or using a public explanation does not create a project-specific GeoSmar opinion, certification, approval or professional appointment.
Ground and project context can change the answer
Geology, stratigraphy, groundwater, baseline, instrument installation, survey control, construction sequence, asset sensitivity and data quality may materially change interpretation.
Automation remains a tool
Automated charts, alerts, AI-assisted text, data screening or illustrative dashboards should not be treated as final engineering conclusions without the review required by the applicable project scope.
Enquiries & User Submissions
Send enough information to start a discussion, not confidential project archives through a public page.
Contact forms, quote builders and public email links are intended to begin a conversation. They should not be treated as secure project-data repositories unless GeoSmar expressly provides and approves a specific transfer route.
You are responsible for what you submit
Do not submit information that you are not authorised to disclose, including restricted client data, third-party confidential material, personal data or proprietary vendor information.
No automatic publication licence
Submitting a project brief or dataset does not by itself give GeoSmar permission to publish the project, use a client logo, create a public case study or use confidential information for unrelated research.
No automatic appointment
Sending an enquiry, RFQ or technical question does not mean GeoSmar has accepted the work, agreed a fee, committed to a response time or assumed professional responsibility.
Intellectual Property
Website access does not transfer ownership of GeoSmar or third-party intellectual property.
Unless otherwise stated, original website text, graphics, diagrams, interfaces, software elements, technical methods, branding and other original GeoSmar material are owned by Rauz Caucasus LLC or used under an appropriate right. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.
GeoSmar names and marks
No right to use the GeoSmar name, logo, visual identity or service names as a business identifier, endorsement, partnership badge or reseller representation is granted by visiting the website.
Reasonable citation
Normal linking and reasonable quotation with clear source attribution are different from bulk copying, republication, resale or creating a competing library from GeoSmar content.
Project and software IP
Ownership and licensing of project-specific reports, code, APIs, data transformations, dashboards, methods or other deliverables are governed by the applicable written agreement.
Third-Party Websites, Data & Services
External references remain external.
GeoSmar may link to public authorities, technical publishers, equipment manufacturers, satellite-data providers, software platforms and other third parties. GeoSmar may also analyse data generated by systems that it does not own or operate.
External links
A link is provided for information or navigation. It does not by itself create a partnership, endorsement, agency relationship or acceptance of responsibility for the external site.
Third-party measurements
Accuracy and suitability of field readings, survey control, sensor calibration, satellite products, vendor platforms and other third-party data remain subject to their own methods and project responsibilities.
External terms may apply
When you leave GeoSmar or use a third-party service, the third party’s own terms, privacy notices, licences and technical limitations may apply.
Privacy & Cookies
Website use may involve personal information and website technologies.
Personal information supplied through enquiries or collected through website operation is handled under the applicable GeoSmar privacy documentation. Cookies and similar technologies should be described according to what the production website actually uses.

No continuous-availability promise
GeoSmar does not promise that the public website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure from every threat or free from technical errors.

Where a GeoSmar article references legislation, standards, satellite products, vendor specifications or official guidance, users should check the current original source for time-sensitive reliance.

Website use versus contracted services
Quotations, Projects & Separate Agreements
A website enquiry is not the professional services contract.
GeoSmar may provide one-off reviews, recurring monitoring intelligence, InSAR interpretation, monitoring diagnostics, monitoring strategy, reporting automation or other services. Those engagements need project-specific commercial and technical terms.
| Stage | Purpose | Legal / commercial effect |
|---|---|---|
| Website content | General information, technical context and service explanation. | Does not by itself create a professional appointment. |
| Enquiry / RFQ | Allows a potential client to describe a project and request discussion or pricing. | Does not by itself confirm acceptance, fee, programme or deliverable. |
| Quotation / proposal | Sets out a proposed scope, assumptions, exclusions, programme and commercial terms. | Becomes binding only as stated in the quotation and the applicable acceptance mechanism. |
| Signed / accepted project agreement | Defines the agreed professional and commercial relationship. | Controls the project together with any mandatory law and incorporated documents. |
